Sonora Dunes Golf Course is part of the NKMIP Resort, the Okanagan’s ultimate resort destination. Sonora Dunes offers golfers of all abilities a one-of-a-kind desert links golf course experience. Golfers enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, vineyard and surrounding mountains.
Sonora Dunes is currently seeking a Pro Shop Supervisor to join our team. Working in a fast paced, retail environment, the Pro Shop Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of clubhouse staff in providing a high level of customer service to patrons of the golf course.
Responsibilities
Recruiting and hiring clubhouse staff
Scheduling and supervising clubhouse staff
Welcoming guests and booking tee times for walk-ins and over the phone
Reconciling daily cash outs
Daily bank deposits
Personal Qualities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, flexible and self-motivated
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently
Golf industry experience an asset
Working Conditions
Must be willing to work variable hours (early morning shifts) and all weekends in the summer months.
